We understand that there are concerns due to recent meningitis B. Since 2015, children are given Men B vaccination as part of the routine infant vaccination programme. Therefore if you are born before 2015 you are unlikely to have had the vaccination. At present, vaccination is only being offered to specific high risk groups identified by public health teams, not the general population. Vaccinations may be sought privately if wished.
