As you may well be aware, Junior Doctors in England are staging industrial action commencing 24th February 2024 for 5 days (24-28/2/24 incl).

As a committed training practice, Junior Doctors here at Firsway Health Centre form an integral part of our workforce.

As such, industrial action will have a significant impact on the service we are able to offer around this period.

We therefore respectfully request that during these dates, our patients:

– Contact the surgery only for urgent medical problems that cannot wait until the following week.

– Avoid contacting to discuss routine test results during this week.

– Understand that we will have less capacity for GP appointment during this week.
